Violet Christmascard

This christmascard is made after the latest sketch at Sketch N Stash challenge.
The image is an old Magnoliastamp, I think she is really cute, but I always seem to pick other before her...
Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge is Dry Embossing Background, as you can see I've embossed the panels behind Tilda (using a cuttlebug embossingfolder), the panels are sewn around the edges.
The snowflakes are made with a (broken) Martha Stewart punch and the smaller are made with a tiny punch I received with a magazine - I'm surprised everytime I use it how well it works... :)
I've painted the snowflakes with Glimmerglam Glitterpaint (Tattered Angels), and put some beads on the large ones (and some beads "randomly" around).
"Snowflakes" is also the challenge at Christmas Card Challenge, so I'll enter there too.
Why did I choose to make a violet christmascard (besides the fact that it is a lovely colour) - the challenge at The ABC Challenge "V is for Violet" :D

2nd and 3rd christmascard in May

One more month, then we're halfway in Hjerteboden's Julebloggs christmascardchallenge, and I'm still hanging in :D
I have found it more difficult to find time making christmascards, than finding inspiration - ideas for many, many more cards, but so little time...
This two are made in different sizes (4,5" X 8 " and 6" X 6").
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, as I'll try to put more pictures out of the camera and into the blog - ( isn't that the greatest challenge ;), and pack my bag for a short trip to Bodø (hoping sooo to find time to visit TreL!)

Diapercake - Bleiekake

Finally the girl arrived, and I got the opportunity to make a diapercake :D
And had I fun making it! Even rolling all those diapers were pretty cool, and then putting on all that pink paper, ribbons and stuff (powder, shampoo etc...), GREAT!

I've been waiting for the chance to make one of these cakes for a while now, and on May 17. (the nationalday) our neighbours had a little girl. Yesterday we went to see them and the little princess - an absolutely adorable little girl.
(almost felt I wanted to have a little baby again)

The challenge at Tuesday Throwdown this week is to make a baby/ child card/project, so I'll enter their challenge with my diapercake :)

Here comes two pictures, taken from other sides (of a round cake - LOL)

Navy themed confirmation card

I found a (to me) new foldingtechnique at Anonyme Scrappere some days ago, and thought it was so cute that I just had to try it - and this is how it turned out :)
Ohh La La Creations Challenges wants Fancy Folds this week, and I hpoe thye'll like this folding.
For decorating the frontside I used the last sketch from Just Magnolia.
I made the streamer out of old scrappapers in red, white and blue - I think it fitted the navy theme on the card - and it also fits the challenge "Lag en egen dekorasjon" (Make your own decoration) at Scrappekammeret :D
And for the navy theme; I hope it can fit Totally Gorjuss challenge "Water Water".
On the stamped banner (Magnolia) I placed a white peeloffsticker with the text "Konfirmasjon".

The text were a little too big for the banner, so I had to cut off a couple of letters, and then I paperpieced another swirl of the banner onto it - I think that it turned out quite well ;)

Inside the card I used the same papers as on the outside, and used some dies to stamp the sentiments upon.
When opening the inside you find a pocket with a tag, where you can write a personal greeting.

Blue Confirmationcard without Stampimage or picture

At Kort o Mania they won't see any stampimages or pictures for their last challenge.
But who needs stamped images or pictures with such lovely papers as this one from Patternscape - it even has a wonderful little poem suitable for a confirmand...
On the front of the boxcard I used my Martha Stewart Butterflypunch - don't think I'll ever get tired of that one - and a metalbutterfly from Kort og Godt (bought a long time ago).
I also used Spellbinders Fancy Tags and Textstamp from Storyteller.
The card is a "Tag in a box card", made after the tutorial at StampARTic - they have a lot of wonderful, easy to follow tuts :)

This picture shows the tag out of its box. I've stamped a little poem to the tag, and put a butterflycharm to the paperclip.
The back of the tag can hold some money for the confirmand ;)
At this picture the tag is "in the box", where I've put some butterflies as well ;)
All edges are chalked with Colorbox fluid chalk in different light blue shades.
Then as a last finish I put on some blue, shiny beads---

I hope You'll like it ;)

Yet another Confirmationcard for a Boy

Here's yet another confirmationcard from me.
This one a Gatefoldcard, closed with a tag holding a magnet.
The image is (again) "Cool Oakley" from Whiff of Joy, coloured with ProMarkers.
Apart from some sentiments I've tried to keep the decorating at a minimum, can' make it too cute for a boy, either

Open card, showing the moneypocket...
...the pocket is fastened with a brad, making it possible to turn around, and a poem shows...
Outside the cellophane-envelope I've put a self-adhesive label which I stamped "Til Konfirmanten" (for the confirmand) upon - it can be nice to easy tell the cards apart sometimes...

I'll enter these two challenges with my card:
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog
A Spoon Full of Sugar

I still have a few confirmationcards to come, so please come back visiting ;)

I'm still working on my confirmationcard, I have a few ready to show you the next days :)
This one is made with Sketch Saturdays Sketch this week.
I used the same sketch bot in- and outside the card. Inside I've put a tag underneath the poem...
...the tag has a (heartshaped) paperclip to fasten some money with.

A close-up showing Cool Oakley (Whiff of Joy), I think he suits perfect for confirmationcards for boys :)

I'll also enter these challenges with my yellow birthdaycard:
Just Magnolia wants to see "Lace" in this weeks challenge - I've used both real lace, and punched laceborders.
Creative Card Crew has the challenge "May Flowers" going, so all the flowers here are for them ;)
I'll also enter Crafty Creations Challenges "Anything Goes".

Inside the card. I used the same sketch here, with a greeting stamped on the left side, and place to write something more personal to the right :)

Here's the backside of the card. Same sketch here too...

Shabby Chic Confirmation Card

I'm still practising the shabby chic style - here on a confirmationcard I was asked to make, luckily enough for a girl - LOL
I have used one of my newest Magnoliaimages, and my brand new - very long wanted Nellie-die, oh, I love it!!! I think it fits perfect for the shabby chic style...

I almost gasped when I saw that I Love ProMarkers challenge this week was "Song Title". Everytime I use my MSButterflypunch I get Miley Cyrus' song "Butterfly" into my head
(with a now 10 year old girl in the house, that has listened to Hannah Montana/ Mily Cyrus, for years, I think I can all the songs (and lyrics) by heart - it cannot be avoided - LOL)

This is the inside of the card. I used Magnolia-Licious Highlites sketch both on the outside and inside the card. I rotated the right inside of the card. On the left side I have stamped a cute confirmationpoem. The right side has a bow to tie around some money :)
A closeup of the stampimage. I coloured Tildas dress in a very light pink shade and used lot of Blender to make it even lighter in areas.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Bazzill
Designpapers: Pion Design, Panduro and some scraps
Stamps: Image Magnolia, Text Storyteller
ProMarkers
Dies: Nellie's Multiframe's (MFD 020), Spellbinders Fancy Tags
DistressInk Walnut Stain, Old Paper and Antique Linen
Martha Stewart Butterflypunch
Flowers from Prima
Halfbeads
Lace
Ribbon
Brads
Sewing Machine

MY first christmascard in May

Isn't this KennyK santagirl with a mistletoe just lovely - at least I think so...
The idea to this christmascard just popped into my head as soon as I saw the sketch from Sketchy Colors. I knew what image i needed (!) and how I would use the sketch immidiatly!
(I even knew who it'll be for - LOL)
I hope my next two christmascards this month for Hjertebodens Juleblogg will come just as easy to my head :)
So, as you may have figured, I'll join these challenges with my latest christmascard:

Sketchy Colors - Sketch
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes
and of course I'll also send it to
Hjerteboden's Juleblogg

This time I'll try not to write so much, just let the pictures speak for themselves -I just have to mention that I've used a kind of floss-stuff for the furdetails, i think it made it kind of cute :)

I've started to open the card - you can see that the magnets are placed between double layered Fancy Tags.
Here the card is completely opened.
A close-up of the KennyK-image...
