Christmascards in July

I have made my three christmascards for Hjertebodens Juleblogg this month - it was hard to get started on christmascards in the middle of the summer, but when I first got into it I almost couldn't stop. I'm still working on christmascards... (and summercards :D)
These three cards are all made after the same sketch, but I think they look quite different though...
Here's the inside of the card.

The second is an Easelcard, also with a Magnoliaimage, coloured with ProMarkers...
...inside the card. A simplifyed version of the sketch...

This, last one, is also an Easelcard, but I couldn't get the photo of the inside into the blog....

Christmas Decoration

Oh, I had such a good time making this christmasdecoration - in July, in the summersun... :)
I've used two snowflakes (one leftover from last christmas, and one newly bought), some tiny bells, three christmastreeballs and some rhinestones. The old snowflake is covered in a white, almost fluffy glitterstuff (I have glitter everywhere now...)
The Image is the lovely Tilda from Magnolia, I coloured her with ProMarkers, and added some crystalstickles for the glittereffect.
In the livingroom I have some treebranches that I've painted white. I hung the decoration on the "tree" before I took the pictures - not that it made the pictures any better :(

I'll enter these challenges, and hope they'll like my chrismas decoration:

Totally Tilda # 27 - Christmas Decoration in July
2 Sisters # 49 - Anything Goes
Gingerloft - Make it Sparkle
Cupcake #152 - Shabby Sparkle
Allsorts 113 - Free n Easy
CSAYL - All About You (my favourite colours are White all year long, and red for christmas)
Kort o Mania - Anything Goes
Paper Cutz Challenge # 101 - Anything Goes
Stamp Something - Something Embellished

Thank You Teacher!

I had almost forgotten these two "cards" that I made just before the children started their summerholiday - always a busy time of the year. When I saw the last challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge, they came to my mind :)
I made these cards, supervised by my kids ( especially my daughter had very specific demands on how hers should be...)

My son was very clear on that he did NOT want the saying "I LOVE MY TEACHER" - LOL
So I had to make his card a bit "cooler and boyish" (he had a man for a teacher).

The images are from Mo's Digital Pencil, Magnolia and Meljens, and are all coloured with ProMarkers.

Now, halfway through the vacation, I hope that next schoolyear will be just as good as the last one has been :)

Ahoy There - a Nautical card from me

Today I have finished a new card - a nautical-inspired card.
This Tilda was the only "nautical" image I had brought on holiday, so I didn't have much to choose from...
The tag is made with my brand new Marianne-die - bought yesterday...
(actually these papers were a bit thick for this die, but running it through the machine several times made it almost perfect)
All panels are distressed, and the tag is tucked under the imagepanel, and can easily be pulled out by the raffiaribbon.
The backingpaper here (from Maja Design) has such a lovely text at the bottom line (the part I normally cut away on papers), that I had to use it...
As you can see the edges are quite heavily distressed - I had to do that to make as much as possible of the text show :)
...for the backside I drew and cut out this image, to fit the theme...

My Nautical card will go into these challenges:
TOMIC #7 - Nautical
Passion for ProMarkers, week 109 - Sketch
A Spoon Full of Sugar, #161 - Create a Tag
Craft Us Crazy, #13 - Anything Goes
Saturday Challenge #143 - Holidays

...for my Footballboy...

In a few days (July 13.) my son has birthday - 12 years old! I can hardly believe it... where has the years gone...
He's a footballboy (soccer), so I've made a card in his teams colours for him this year too. I've used an image from KennyK - perfect image for him :)
I made this card Clean And Simple ( just a little bit of DistressInk, BlackSoot, to finish off the paneledges), and I think I managed to keep it just that; Clean and Simple :)
The image is attached to the card with a magnet, so that he can keep it on his magnetic board, or on the fridge if he doesn't want to have the card on display for ever after the birthday.
Inside the card I made a pocket with a tag to write the greeting on.
...thought the tag needed a football - just to keep the theme...

I'll put his birthdaycard into the challenges at:
I Love ProMarkers Challenge Blog - Clean And Simple
Allsorts challenge blog - Free and Easy
Craft your passion challenges - Anything Goes
and
Kenny K's Krafty Girlz - Anything Goes Bloghop Challenge
(if I manage to finish the bloghop)

Easelcard for a babyboy

I got my hands on this adorable Magnoliaimage a while ago, and though I don't really need a babyboycard at the moment, i couldn't wait any longer to use it :)
Of course it had to be blue!
The flowers were originally pale yellow, but I found I could spray them blue, using Glimmermist (Bubbles and Waterslide) . I used a paper underneath when spraying - and after the flowers had dried, I thought the scrappaper looked really nice - so nice that I decided to use it inside the card, for the writingplate. I glued it to a thin piece of cardstock, then ciecutted it, using a Nellie's Multiframe's die (MFD 007).
On the close-up it's easier to see the shimmer from the Glimmermist

Material list:
Cardstock: Bazzill
DPs: Prima (2), Melissa Frances
Stamps: Magnolia
Colouring: ProMarkers
Ink: Adirondack Earthtone Espresso, Versacolor SkyBlue
Flowers: Prima
Glimmermist, Bubbles and Waterslide (limited edition)
Liquid Appliqué
Doily
Ribbon
Charm
Nellie's Multiframe's (MFD007)
Spellbinders Classic Ovals (LG)
Ribbon
Sewing machine

My easelcard will go into these challenges:
TOMIC #5 - Easel Card
A Spoonfull of Sugar #159 - Sewing
Simon Says Stamp - A Stitch in Time
Sketchy Colors - Colours: Pale blue/ Beige/ Brown and Sketch
Totally Tilda - Distressing

Shabby Chic Summerbirthdaycard

I've made a summerbirthdaycard.

On this card I've only used designpapers from 3ndypapir. I think these papers are so soft and lovely - almost too beautiful to cut, tear and distress, like I've done here...

I've used a Magnoliaimage again - I love to try other stamps, both clear-, rubber- and digistamps, but I always seem to come back to these cuties...

Tilda is coloured with ProMarkers.

The flags are homemade :D

With the flowers I also used a few pearlstrings and some tiny beads.

Inside the card I used the same papers, ripping, tearing, distressing (DistressInk OldPaper) the same way as I did with the frontside panels. The "Happy Birthday"-text is embossed with coppercoloured embossingpowder. For the Labels I used a Spellbinderdie.

I used a little glitter on the wings and on Tildas bouquet.

(When I saw the picture, I thought the roses needed a little glitter, as well, but didn't take new photographs...)

I'll enter the following challenges with this card:

EXCITING NEWS

...well, at least it is exciting to me :)
The other week I were invited to join the DesignTeam over at Fuzzy and Fancy Friday Challenge - is THAT great, or what!!!
I didn't need much time to think about it, before I said "Yes" :D
***
But then, as I started getting into the Group, attaching accounts (to avoid too many passwords and clicks to get into everything and everywhere I needed), I asked myself (several times) "what the ¤%#/&% have I got myself into!!!"
But I made it! And I made it on my own!
I'm in the Group, and I'm a member of the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge Design Team, and I can hardly wait to get started :D

There is a new challenge in Fuzzy and Fancy Friday Challenge blog.
It is a wonderful sketch, designed by Cheri.

I really loved working with this sketch, and I hope you will too...

Cupcake Giftbag

Around eastertime "Ett Trykk" had a cupcakechallenge. I had, just days before the challenge were published, bought a magazine (Docrafts Creativity, I think...) that had some lovely cupcakstamps and a little embossingfolder as a freegift.
Of course I could use my new stash and join in on that challenge!
But - "Ett Trykk" seems to have that policy that one can't go public with entries for their challenges until a month after the magazine is in the shops :(
1 month is quite a long time, and I've almost forgotten that now it's been a month, and I can show my Cupcake Giftbag that I made for that challenge, in my blog :)
...and brag to all that my creation were showed in the magazine - EXCITING :)

Here it is:
...and here's what's inside it:
...it contains cupcakemix, chocolate, icingmix and some decorationsticks I made for it :)
