OLL DT C... Christmas

Monday for a new challenge at Ooh La La again .
The theme this time is C... Christmas, a theme I think many of you will like.
A little while ago I got the new CD Yuletide Wishes,
and the image and papers are from the CD - aren't they cuuute???
I think the image and papers are so pretty in itself that I didn't want to hide them under too much decorations (but couldn't help myself from putting on a little glitter on the star... and a few embellishes)
I also used a little starcharm attached to the bow.
The hearts are made with Nellie's Multiframe's (MFD 043).
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
Here's a picture showing the insides, with same papers as outside. The greetingpanels are Kraft cardstock, the sentiment is from Kort & Godt.
On the back I used the same backingpaper as on the front. The image is also the same, but a smaller version. the cornerdecorations are made with a Spellbinder-die.
I hope I've inspired many, many of you to join the Christmaschallenge at Ooh La La this time.

I'll send this card to these challenges as well:
The Crafty Pad #194 - Christmas is coming
Just Keep On Creating - Christmas Is Around The Corner
Jingle Belles - Creature Feature
ABC Christmas - U for Up To You

Another christmascard

I've made another christmascard with a Magnoliaimage. I've used Distressmarkers and -reinks to colour Tilda. One of the DPs are from Panduro. I cut it to make the image on the paper continue on the front and backside of the card.
Then I layered up some more DPs (from the scrapbox) - I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch on these papers.
On the tag (a Magnolia DooHickey Die) I stamped a christmasgreeting from Kort & Godt.
With the flowers I used a swirl made with a die from Marianne, and some branches made with a Spellbinders-die.
I also tucked a little piece of lace under the paperarrangement and tied a lace to the tag. The tag also has a charm attached.
The inside has the same backingpaper from panduro as I used on the outside. The greetingpanels are made with Spellbinders Labels Fifteen.
The stamped greeting inside the card is from Kreativ Hobby.
Of course I inked the paperedges inside too :)

Here's the list of challenges I'll send this card to:
NSHK #62 - Jul (Christmas)
Just Keep On Creating - Christmas Is Around The Corner
Crafty Ribbons #31 - Christmas
Happy Campers #3 - Shabby Chic
Stampin' For The Weekend #20 - Anything Goes

A Purple Christmas Box

Here's a box I found a tutorial for some time ago, but haven't dared to try to make it 'till now.
It wasn't difficult alt all!
Actually I had a real fun time making it.
To decorate it I found some of my oldest Magnolias (from the time they almost didn't have any hair :) ).
I used different Lucia-Magnolias on each side of the box. They're all coloured with ProMarkers.
The images and embellishments are all attached to an oval (die from Nellie's) before they're fastened to the box.
Embellishments are lace, cheesecloth, Liquid Pearls and swirls (Spellbinders die).
On top of the box I placed a greeting (Kort & Godt). The circle that the greeting is stamped on is made with a die-set from Nellie's too. The little stars (or is it flowers?) that I've put pearls in the middle of is a part of that Nelli's-dieset (but sold separately).
I got my set from Maja some time ago.
I've also used DistressInk WalnutStain on all paper- and paneledges.
...and Glimmermist, lots of Glimmermist :)

Here's a few more pictures of the box, from different angles:

This christmasproject will be sent to the following challenges:
Scrap'a'Long #20 - Stempel (Stamp)
NSHK #63 - Jul (Christmas)
Fashionista #8 - Anything Goes
Stamptacular Sunday #186 - No Rules

October Christmas Cards

Here come my Octoberchristmascards for Hjertebodens Juleblogg.
I thought their challenge would  be a really easy one, when I first read it "Tallet 3" (The number 3).
We're to use 3 of something.
I always (well, mostly) use uneven numbers on desorations and embellishments, but never seem to think about it. Now that I were to focus on the number 3, it got rather difficult - LOL
I was so happy when I, on Tuesday, found the magazine Cardmaking & Papercraft, with these lovely Holly Hobbie-images.
This character was one of my favourites when I was a little girl, so of course I had to buy the magazine, and couldn't get home fast enough to get the images inked and coloured.

Well, back to the cards:
On the first card I've used 3 papers (Milton & Co), 3 ribbons and 3 pearls.
The image is coloured with ProMarkers.
The panels are sewn together.
I also used the Martha Stewart Lace Heart Edge Punch.
On the inside I used one of the papers from the front. For two of the corners I cut out and glued down two poinsettias.
The sentiment is from Papirdesign.
The paneledges are inked with DistressInk OldPaper.
This, first card goes for the challenges at:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Tallet 3 (3 of something)
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - Stitching
Totally Papercrafts #139 - Christmas 9 Weeks and Counting

On the second card I've used 3 papers (3ndyPapir, Papirdesign and Magnolia), 3 pearls, 3 ribbons and 3 poinsettias (I think I used 3 stamps on the frontside, as well :D)
The image (looovely Holly Hobbie, again) is coloured with ProMarkers.
All paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
I used Martha Stewarts Doily Lace Edge Punch on two of the panels.
(Have to admit this card might not be 100% finished yet, I still have the bottle of red GlimmerGlam on my desk, wondering to give the poinsettias a coat of it... but my consultant, Hedda, have been too busy to help her mother with the decision...)
Inside I used one of the frontsidepapers, and Kraftcardstock fro the greetingpanels (these panels are also inked with DistressInk WalnutStain).
This greeting are from Kort&Godt.
My second OctoberChristmasCard will be entered into these challenges:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Tallet 3 (3 of something)
CSAYL #33 - Traditional Colours
NSHK #63 - Jul (Christmas)
Sparkles Christmas #21 - Traditional

My third octobercard is completely different.
In a blog (unfortunately I can't remember which one) I saw an image masked over a text, and found it so lovely I just had to give it a try. So my third card is more in a vintage-shabby style than the other two.
The text here is from Kort&Godt, the angelimage is from Papirdesign.
I've used 3 different papers (Pion), here are 3 feathers and 3 pearls on the front (and 3 inside).
Paperedges arevery lightly distressed before I inked them with DistressInk (WanutStain).
This card is an easelcard, here it's shown standing up:
I'll send my third OctoberChristmasCard into these challenges:
Hjertebodens Juleblogg - Tallet 3 (3 of something)
Deep Ocean #36 - Anything Goes
The Crafty Pad #192 - Distress It!
Panduro - Julekort (Christmascard)

Christmas Sentiment Challenge at OLLCB

Today there's a new challenge at Ooh La La Challenge Blog, a nice and easy for most of us this time of year; "Christmas Sentiment"
This week we also have a DT-Call at OLLCB, exciting, or what?!!?
Now, for my Christmas Sentiment-Project I've made a Cookiebag.
I've used an image from the Christmas Presence CD
The DPs are also from OLL.
On the tag I used a sentiment from Kort&Godt.
The "big" sentiment behind the cookiebag is from Papirdesign.
Making and decorating boxes and bags for "food", I like it to look a little "clean", for some reason (not "too distressed, torn and worn" and not too much glitter that can dust off on the food, if you see what I mean...)
So, here it is (first empty...)
...then with cookies...
close-up of the image:
...and the tag:

If my first picture made you wonder; it is Ooh La La Creations NEW CD.
This CD is the prize we have on offer for this challenge
Come on all you crafting girls, join us with your Christmas Sentiments and it can be yours.
(Of course you can order it from the online shop)

Mini-Cards for Christmas

The Octoberchallenge at Ett Trykk is to make Minicards. The size should be 1 1/4"x 4 1/4".
How fun, and I can use my ministamps from Bildmålarna - but working in that format was a lot harder than I thought it would be. It took quite some time of thinking, cutting, moving and switching all the pieces before I found how I wanted the cards to be.
But fun - YES!
I've had these images for a long time now, but haven't found any "right" place to use them, untill now, so I think I might make some more of this size cards.
The images are coloured with DistressMarkers. Papers and cardstock are most leftovers (perfect way to use leftovers!). All edges are distressed and inked (DistressInk WalnutStain).
I've decorated with Cheesecloth, Laces, Flowers, Glitter, Rhinestones, LiquidAppliqué, Snowflakes (punches and a Magnolia DooHickey), and the Magnolia DooHickey Fence.

The insides are just covered with papers, waiting for a sentiment/ greeting as soon as they're to be given away...

I'll enter these challenges with my Mini-Christmas-Cards:
Ett Trykk - Mini-Cards
Just Keep On Creating - Christmas is Just Around the Corner
Totally Gorjuss #152 - Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door #39 - Anything Goes
Deep Ocean #36 - Anything Goes
Crafts And Me #105 - Anything Goes

Anonyme Timeglass 4

Good morning to you all.
Here's what I made for the fourth challenge at Anonyme Scrapperes challenge Anonyme Timeglass.
The theme for all four challenges was to make something NOT square or rectangular, and for the fourth challenge we had to make a "matching set of three".
I'm so happy I finished all 4 challenges. I have to admit that when I read the last challenge I thought "It's impossible. I can't make a matching set of three in so short time".
But seeing all the lovely sets the DT had made, I had all the inspiration I needed, and finished this set rather quickly.
Again I've used last years christmascollection from Pion (soon, very soon, I can buy this years collection ;)), and made a set with matching winetag, candle and a tincan. I also put on a "tag" to the basket where the "set of three" is to be put. (I see now that I need to have a sort of cloth in the bottom of the basket...)
(The bottle used in the picture isn't the bottle that actually should go with the set, I just had to find one for photopurpose)

This project should also fit in to the challenges at:
Pile It On #141 - Vintage or Shabby Chic
Just Keep On Creating - Christmas Is Around The Corner

Here's a picture of the set:
Here's the can, to be filled with christmascandies:
here's the candle (vanillascented):
and the winetag:

Materials used:
DPs from Pion
DistressInk (WalnutStain)
Lace
Twine
Charms
textstamp from Papirdesign (text "To...From" on one of the tags)
Spellbinders Labels Ten

Kreativ Hobby 3

The third, and last, challenge at Kreativ Hobby this weekend was "Jul" (Christmas). I have used one of Kreativ Hobbys Angel Eyes-girls, not actually a christmasimage, but giving her a christmasdress, she's perfect for christmas too :)
The textstamps I've used are also from Kreativ Hobby (they have lots and lots of wonderful textstamps! Other lovely stamps too, like the Angel Eyes-girls, of course)
I punched out  the back of the card (quite big, 6.75"X6.75") of green Bazzill Cardstock, then I built the card up on that. Papers are Pions and Papirdesign.
The punch used is Martha Stewarts Cherish PATP-set.
So, with this christmascard I've completed Kreativ Hobbys celebration of World Cardmaking Day (think I have celebrated almost two days...)
I've showed to myself that I can work rather quick, I don't have to use days making a card (most of the time spent colouring and moving bits and pieces around).

See you tomorrow :)

Kreativ Hobby 2

I'm back, with my entry for the second challenge at Kreativ Hobbys  CardmakingDay. The second challenge was to use minimum 3 different ribbons (ribbons/ twine/ lace...)
I've used 1 zigzagribbon, 1 textribbon, 1 twine, and 2 silkribbons to close the "bag".
I decorated a paperbag. It's supposed to contain gingerbreadcookies for christmas.
I used an old stamp from Rubberstampede, that I masked and stamped together several times, to make a lot of gingerbreadmen. They're coloured with DistressMarkers.
The textstamp is a gingerbreadrecipe, from Kreativ Hobby.
Papers are mostly Papirdesign.
On the backside I simply stamped a christmas-sentiment from Papirdesign.
So, together with the challenge at Kreativ Hobby
I'll send it to the "Anything Goes"-challenge at Totally Gorjuss.

Now, one more blogpost, then I'll be quiet 'till tomorrow, when I'll show you the last creation for Anonyme Scrapperes challenge Anonyme Timeglass :)

See you soon :)

Kreativ Hobby 1

Kreativ Hobby has been celebrating World Cardmaking Day this weekend, with not less than 3 challenges! I have been celebrating with them, and have had not just one, but two cardmakingdays! Wonderful days :D
So, all I have to do now is to post what I've made - if things work out the way they should here will come three blogpost in, hopefully, quite a short time.
But first things first...

Their first challenge was a sketch challenge.
I've had these Toffefee-boxes (the bigger ones, with 24 pieces) for a while now, waiting for some decorations, so for this challenge I found I just had to do it. I used Pions old christmaspapers (have to use them now, so I can buy the new collection). The picture is from Papirdesign, and the stamps are from Kreativ Hobby.
All edges are distressed (DistressInk WalnutStain). I used a punch and a DooHickey to make the snowflakes. In the middle of the snowflakes I put a little rhinestone.
A closer look at the image:

I also enter Sentimental Sundays  Anything Goes-Challenge with the chocolatebox.

I'll be back really soon :)

Anonyme Timeglass 3

Yesterday Part 3 of Anonyme Scrapperes Anonyme Timeglass-Challenge came. This time it was a colourchallenge. We must use Gold, Silver or Bronze. And still make something not square or rectangular.

Tricky, this one! Not the making-part, but I find it really hard to take good pictures of shiny surfaces (hard taking pictures in general, and shiny, sparkly stuff even more...). Well, these are the best two of about 20+...

This ornament is made around a used taperoll
- you know, the one that you can't get the last round of tape off.
I just fastened a christmaspaper to the remaining tape, and used the roll as base.
Inside I used one of Pions last years christmas-collection.
I painted the inside white, and put a quite thick layer of "Aleene's True Snow".
Over the snow I sprinkled a little glitter, and put in a little figure ( the caroling snowcouple is from a broken snowglobe).
I used a Marianne-die (LR 0127) on both sides - see how perfect it's size matches the taperoll??!??).
The holly I used as decoration on the front is from the same set. On it I put some red halfpearls.
On top of the ornament  I decorated with some cinnamonsticks and a few cones (had to brush on a little gold to those, as well).
On the back I stamped on a verse from a christmas song.

In addition to the challenge at Anonyme Scrappere I'll enter these three challenges:
Fashionista Challenge - Anything Goes Christmas
Just Keep On Creating - Christmas is around the corner
Alphabet Challenge - R for Recycle, Repurpose

Anonyme Timeglass 2

Today I finished part 2 of Anonyme Scrappere's challenge "Anonyme Timeglass".
I'm not allowed to make anything square or rectangular, and the details for the second challenge is "Fri Oppgave. Lag det du vil" (anything Goes).

I decorated an empty Pringlesbox (a small on, bought on a plane).
First I painted the box with white Gesso, then I covered it with a Mulberrypaper. Over the mulberrypaper I put an embossed paper that I punched the edges on (Martha Stewart the edgepunch from the PATP-set Vintage Floral). Over that I tied a lace into a bow and hung a charm on it. I made the pins myself :D
I glued a lace to the edge of the lid. On top of the lid I put on a flower I made putting several flowers of different sizes together then sprayed it with glimmermist.

So, now I have a nice little box filled with Liquorice pralines and coffeecandies.

I made the can in  vintage/ shabby chic-style,
to go for challenge #37  at Papirdokkene, which is: Vintage/ Shabby Chic

Anonyme Timeglass 1

I have joined Anonyme Scrapperes challenge Anonyme Timeglass. Every second day we'll get a new challenge untill we've completed 4 challenges. The theme is "Ikke Kvadratisk eller rektangulært" (Not Square or Rectangular). The first challenge is "Detaljer" (Details), and we have to use Lace/ Ribbon + Pearls + Paint/ Mist - I think I've used it all :)
I used an old wooden basket my mother should throw away (originally bought at Nille, with some really hideous flowers in!)
I washed it, painted it white, put on some white cardstock, distressed the edges, put on more paint. Then I cut four pieces of designpaper, that I inkdistressed the edges on (DistressInk WalnutStain) and brushed on a little white Gesso. Then I glued the pieces onto the basket. At the bottomedge I attached a lace. On two of the corners I glued down halfpearls, on the other two corners I put on some flowers (Prima Botanical Mix, a touch of Gesso on those too), and white and pink pearlstrings.
On top of the handle I tied a white satinribbon, and used two laceribbons at each side of the basket.
The butterflies are punched with my most used Martha Stewart punch (Monarch Butterfly Large), the edges on them are inked, then I put on some mist, but didn't find them glittery enough, so I had to squeese on some GlitterStickles (Diamond)...
Inside I put to glasses (last years fleamarket-finds), tied white ribbons around them - and it's finished :)
 Picture showing the "backside":
Now I have put pens and pencils, and other things the kids need when they do their homework, in it:

I'll also join Card and Scraps Challenge #40 "Brug Bånd/ Blonder" (Use Ribbons/ Lace), and hope they'll like it.

Thanks a lot for your stay, I hope you've like what you've seen

Santa - DT OLLCB

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Challenge Blog
This fortnight the theme is "Santa", easy or what???
I hope many, many of you'll find the time to join us.
To see who were picked as winners/ favourites of the last challenge, just visit OLL.
There you'll find the new challenge too, more inspiration from the rest of the DT-girls, rules and details on how to join the challenge :)
You can find the image and papers I've used, plus many, many, MANY more at
Ooh La Las Online Craft Shop
I found this image, wit Santa playing with (his ?) kids so adorable, I had to make a set with both card and gifttags...
The sentiment (frontside) is from Papirdesign, for the inside-sentiment I used a stamp from Norsk Stempelblad AS.

Here you can see the card opened, with a holder for a giftcard or some money:

I had to use the same paper on the backside, as I did inside the card, just to show it better.
Isn't it just lovely???

To go with the card I made, and 4 different gifttags:

...maybe they show better in this picture:

Now it's your turn. I know you all have santa-stamps and -images, so dig them out and join the

It's only 84 days 'till christmas - that's about 60 days till the cards should be posted :)

Thanks a lot for spending a little time with me.
I wish you all a wonderful October
