Shabby Chic ConfirmationCard for Inky Chics

I am SO sorry I’m so late with my card for Inky Chicks, not being at home, busy days, and having an internet access that is very to and from, writing a blogpost is NOT easy. AND - having left my USB stick at home I felt in real trouble. But now I’m home, sitting by my own computer, in my own crafting room - that’s what I call good times :)

Well - over to this weeks challenge over at
the challengetheme is
Use a metal embellishment

My card for Inky Chicks this week is a Magic Card, a Shabby Chic, Romantic Magic Card, for a confirmand. All embellishments are in white, with a little touch of silver and gold.

The image is found on the internet, and again I've used a Spellbinderdie to frame it. Both the frame and the flowers are sprinkled with Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel.

My metal embellishment is the heartcharm - I think an heartcharm works

I used a Martha Stewart PATP-set (Eyelet Lace) to make the greetingpanels inside the card. On the edges of the card I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch. The stamped greeting on the inside is from Papirdesign

Perler @ My Besties Norge

Hi again
-another card from me today, this one for
My Besties Norge
and their challenge
Perler
(Pearls)

I made a pocketcard for this challenge, and for a moment I thought I’d go wild in pearls, but finished I’m quite satisfied with it. I hadn’t used as much pearly stuff as it felt by the look on my desk…
The image, Sherri Baldys I Say A Little Prayer For You, is coloured with ProMarkers.
I also sprinkled on som Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel around the image.
For the imagepanel I used Spellbinders Labels Four. Underneath the imagepanel I tucked in a little cheesecloth.
DPs are from MajaDesign and the cardstock is from Bazzill.
The textstamp is from Storyteller. The swirls on the the insidepanel are made with an old stamp from Prima - one of my oldest and most used swirlstamps.
The pink, little flowers have got a little (actually more like a «lottle») touch of glitter.
All paneledges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
For the pearly touch I used different pearlstrings and halfpearls.

Frontsides of pocket and inlaycard:

Backsides of pocket and inlaycard:

The image is called

Good Morning To You All
Sunday, and time for our new challenge @
Storyteller

The theme for this challenge is
(Confirmation or Celebration)

For this challenge I’ve made a shabby Chic confirmationcard.
The image is found on internet, I mounted it on to a Spellbinders diecut, then put on lot of frantage around the image and onto the frame. I used the same frantage (Shabby White) on the flowers too, and on the edges of the label.
I really like these pictures from old times, in black and white, with girls in white dresses and long hair lovely done.
The charm was originally silvecoloured, but I covered it with coldcoloured embossingpowder to make it fit better to the rest of the embellishments. The same goldembossingpowder is used on the greeting on the label and on the back of the card.
You’ll find a full supplylist further down in the post.

Whatever the Weather @ I ❤️ProMarkers

Hi Friends and Followers
-I’m  SO SORRY todays post is so late. I’ve been away for the last two days, bringing the laptop ‘cause I thought I’d have proper internetaccess, but I was wrong…
I had net, and was able to log on to the blog, but couldn’t get the blogpostlist, so I wasn’t able to finish or schedule the post 😞

Well, here I am with my DT-card for this weeks challenge over at
and
is what we’ve called this challenge

It’s been so long since I’ve used my Magnoliastuff, so for this one I really felt like  using it again, both image and papers are Magnolias. I’ve also used lots of laces, flowers, seambindingribbon, twine, cheesecloth, pearlstrings, halfpearls, a button, a heartshaped charm and some shrinkfilm.
For the imagepanel I used a die from Nellie’s, the stamped greeting is stamped on shrinkfilm, then cut with a Spellbindersdie.
The stamp used on the shrinkfilm, I got by mail (yes, a real letter), from a boy who used to visit me in the tower at the airport where I work - yes, I admit I had to cry a little when I got the letter… Isn’t it kind of a young boy to remember an «old» lady, and even think of me when he see a clearstamp with such a lovely greeting???

I’m an Inky Chic!

Hi, you all - big news today;
I’m an INKY CHIC
-yes I’m on the DT over at  Inky Chicks, and this is my first DT-entry for them.
I’m so happy to play along with the chicks - and by a look at my fingers on an ordinary day, I think I fit right in 😉
And if there should be any Glitter- or Glue Girls around, I’d probably play well amongst them too…
But - the theme for this challenge is
CAS
Clean And Simple
The theme I find the most difficult of all challengethemes…
And to be sure I didn’t step outside the rules of CAS on my first DT for Inky Chicks, I decided to make it really, really Clean and Simple - here’s just the cardblank, the DP, a little more cardstock for matting and the image (Magnolias).
The motive is coloured with ProMarkers - yeah, I love my ProMarkers 😍

Something Old, Something New @ My Besties

Good Morning
-today I’m here to welcome you to a new challenge over at
My Besties
the theme for this challenge is
Something Old, Something New

I found a many year old cut out sheet, with flags and banners.
The ribbon is about 10 years old, I used it for tying plaits in the hair of my daughter many, many years ago, on our national day.
The new stuff I’ve used are my newly bought papers from Authentique, the small paperflowers I’ve made into a wreath and the charm I made especially for this project. I tried to make the charm in a kind of filigree brooch-style, like the ones used for the national costumes we wear in Norway.
17. Mai is the national day here in Norway, and this year our constitution is 200 years, so we’ll have a huge celebration :)

For this occasion I’ve decorated a winebottletag
The image used is Sherri Baldys My Besties Img303
It’s coloured with ProMarkers.
The frame is made with a Spellbindersdie.
On the frame and around the picture I put on (lots of) Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel.

Sherri Baldy now has 3 shops where you canbuy her images (they’re available both as digis and clearstamps, in CDs and on fabric, you can even get them in 3D)
Just visit her shops:

Konfirmasjon eller Feiring @ My Besties Norge

Hi, and Good Morning
I’m back with another confirmands card, this time for a girl.
This card is my DT-entry for the new challenge at
My Besties Norge

The image is Tween Besties Img 124, an image I’ve used for several of this years confirmandscards
- I think it is just so perfect for such an occasion
Of course then,  the theme for this challenge is
Confirmation or Celebration

I’ve used ProMarkers to colour the image to go with the DPs from Papirdesign.
I’ve decorated with some laces, cheesecloth, pearlstrings, leaves, roses and halfpearls. Around the image I put on lots of tiny Liquid Pearls (White Opal).
The textplate is mad using a Martha Stewart punch (Lace Heart Edge Punch), the stamped text is from Kort & Godt.
The paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

Inside I used Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace PATP set, both for the bordered edges and for the greetingpanels. The stamped greeting is from Papirdesign.

Underneath the paperband on the far right inside you can put some money :)

The frontsides of the card:

I hope many of you will find time to join us for this challenge.

Vintage Confirmationcard for a Boy

Hi again, fellow Crafters.
I have made a vintage boyscard.
For a while I have wondered if it could be done; as I don’t think I can have too much flowers and laces and other stashy, yummi nice things on a male card…
So i found my things -
Papers from Papirdesign,
the image is also from Papirdesign,
dies from Spellbinders,
Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel,
Goldcoloured Embossingpowder,
Pearls and stash to make a pin,
Textstamps from Papirdesign and Kort & Godt,
Ribbon with textprint,
and of course DistressInk WalnutStain
- and decided to have a try
This is how it turned out:

The inside is rather Clean and Simple, with a fold to put in either money or a giftcard:

On the back I stamped a greeting, and embossed it with Goldcoloured embossinpowder

I hope you like my Vintage Male Card.

I’ll join these challenges with it:
Vintage Udfordring #80 - Herrekort/ Card to a man

Metal/ Metallic @ I ❤️ ProMarkers

Good Morning
and welcome to another challenge at
I ❤️ Pro Markers
This weeks challenge is
Metal/ Metallic

I’ve used the image
(Daisy Do All Cleaning Day)
a digistamp by Sherri Baldy
Who is this weeks sponsor.

My DT-entry for this challenge is a wallhanging I’ve made for my laundry room (where I keep all my washing equipment).
The Metallic touch in my project are a lot of charms, a bookplate, brads, a little chain. The ribbons are silvercoloured with metal strings inside. The flowers are embossed with Frantage (Aged Silver). The pattern in the background paper is silvercoloured as well.
I do not like that someone mess around with my laundry, washing clothes with not similar colours together. - Or use washing liquids meant for floors for other surfaces - this wallhanging states that it’s my room, others should keep out :)

ProMarkers used for the image:
Skin: Ivory, Dusky Pink, Tan, Sunkissed Pink
Hair: Terracotta Eyes: Pearl Blue
Mouth and Flower: Blossom
Clothes: Gold, Tulip Yellow, Khaki, Pastel Beige, Burnt Orange, Pumpkin, Coral
Washing equipment: Warm Grey 1 + 3, Tan, Walnut
Shadows: Warm Grey 1. Glacier Blue (F), Blender

I hope you’ll visit
and join us on this weeks
Metal/ Metallic Challenge
