Bruk Glitter/ Let’s Sparkle @ My Besties Norge

Good Morning To You All.
Finally, it’s time for a new challenge over at
My Besties Norge

We’re now back with the regular fortnightly challenges again, after the summer.
This challenge has got the theme
Bruk Glitter/ Let’s Sparkle

I hope you’ll find the time and inspiration to join us for this one - Glitter is FUN!

You can find all of Sherris lovely images in her shops:
Sherri’s Etsy Store
Scrapbook Stamp Society
My Besties Store

I have decorated a giftbox. The box itself is one that «the man in the house» received some of his beloved technical devices in (I really can’t understand what he needs all his gadgets and things for, but I always checks if the boxes they arrive in can be useful for me and my things…).
Giftboxes in various sizes are always handy.

Backside of the giftbox

To close the box I simply attached a ribbon around it, simply fastened underneath the panels.
Between the glittered flowers I put a few pearlstrings
-and then with a few bligstones, the box is finished…

The image is coloured with Pro- and FlexMarkers.
Around the image I used both Frantage and Glitterstickles.

I’ll join these challenges:
That Craft Place - Summery Colours
Scribble and Scrap #26 - Always Anything Goes
Totally Gorjuss #251 - Pearls
A Gem of a Challenge #127 - It’s SUMMER Time..
Card and Scrap #81 - Alt er tilladt
Brown Sugar #109 - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday #336 - Anything Goes!
Tuesday Throwdown #210 - Anything Goes

to read about the prizes, and to see what the DT girls have made to inspire you.

Here’s my DT project for this challenge.
My backing paper is made of old newspapers. Torn into small pieces, thoroughly wet, then put into «frames» with a few dried flowers, flattened and dried. I prefer making papers outside, as this is a really messy work…
I also used an embossed piece of paper on the book mark (Cuttlebug D’vine Swirls embossingfolder) - for that’s what it is; a bookmark.
The image is coloured with ProMarkers, for the glasses I used Glossy Accents.
Around the image I put on a little Frantage Aged Copper

Backside of the bookmark:

Inside of it I put on two magnets, to hold the bookmark in place inside the book

I’ll join these fun challenges:
Let’s Craft and Create #96 - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown #210 - Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes

Photo Inspiration @ I ❤️ ProMarkers

Hi again, and good morning to you all

 Today we have an
Inspirational photo
for the new challenge over at

Not an easy challenge this time, I thought…
I decided to work with some of the colours from the picture, and as I started, the ideas just came into my head; «I couldn’t use chickens (too much of an easterlook) - but I’m quite sure that there’s an owl living in the old tree. An owl works perfect for a back to school project - I’ll make a giftbag with some schoolsupplies in (pencils, eraser, crayons, a little notebook….)
Tree, hmm; didn’t I have a kind of treedie that I haven’t used yet??? And yes, I can use orange flowers to pick up the colours from the hearts in the picture…»
Like that I worked on, and all of a sudden I had it all worked out :) As a last detail I put on some ribbons on the handle, inspired from the kites tails.

The image, IMG948, is one of Sherri Baldys My Besties

Pro- and FlexMarkers used to colour the image:
Owl: Cocoa, Tan, Putty, Blender
Treebranch: Tan, Sandstone
Flowers: Apricot, Pastel Yellow
Background: Pebble Blue (F), Blue Pearl, Powder Blue, Blender

I’ll join these challenges:

Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Scribble and Scrap #25 - Anything Goes
Brown Sugar #107 - Anything Goes

Favourite Color Combination @ My Besties International

Good Morning To You All.
It’s a wonderful day at Røst - the sun is shining, not much wind and there’s a little smell of autumn in the air.
And it’s the first day of school. The summer has come to an end (and yet no vacation for me…)
This is my second favourite season; when the nights are getting darker, the weather worse and christmas, my absolute favourite time of the year, is coming closer for each day.

Today we start a new challenge over at
My Besties International

The theme this time is
Favorite Color Combo
So find your favourite colours and join us.

For my Favourite Colour Combination Project I made a Christmas Gift-Tag.
I’m not quite sure I have one clear favourite colour combination, but one of my favourites are violet, brown and white - with some glitter on… I love glitter!
Actually I love all kind of embellishments: Laces, flowers, blingstones and pearls…you name it…
I have used Sherri Baldys IMG380 on front of the giftcardholder.
You can find Sherris images here:
Sherri’s Etsy Store
Scrapbook Stamp Society
My Besties Store

My image is coloured with ProMarkers - and Glitterstickles StarDust on the glittery parts.
All paperedges are inked, and around the image I put on a little Frantage Shabby White.
Of course the flower have got a glittertouch, as well…
This «gifttagcardholderthing» is a kind of all-in-on gift. As you’ll see of the pictures below it has both a label for «To - From», place for a giftcard, a greeting and place to write a personal message/ greeting

I’ll join these fun challenges with my «ChristmasGiftCardHolderTag»:

Anything Goes @ I ❤️ ProMarkers

Good MorningTo You All
I have made a pocketcard for this weeks challenge over at
I ❤️ ProMarkers

Our sponsor for this challenge is

Here’s my Pocketcard.
The image is Kenny Ks Scarlett West, and of course it’s coloured with ProMarkers. You’ll find the colourlist further down.
Around the image I sprinkled on a little Frantage, Aged Silver and Aged Copper. The bullets below the image are REAL - I managed to beg 10 of this little things from a shooter. In time I might get some silvercoloured too - lol
Next to the bullets I made a little lace embellishment; black lace with a black rose on. The black rose is glittered a bit, but the whole arrangement shows so poorly on the photo. At the bottomedge of the image I also attached a ribbonpiece with some pearlarrangements on. I think it looks rather nice with some softer, more romantic embellishments with the rather rough and tough image, the gun and handcuff charms and the bulets…
DPs are from Papirdesign. The edges on both the DPs and the Kraft cardstock are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

Front- and Inside - with plenty of place to write

Back- and inside

Backside of the pocket

Fancy Folds @ I ❤️ ProMarkers

Good Morning to you all.
Today I’m here to show you my DT card for this weeks challenge over at
I ❤️ ProMarkers

This time with the challenge theme
Fancy Folds

Sponsor for this challenge is
Dr Digi

My project for the Fancy Fold Challenge is a Magic Card. I think this is suchan elegant way to fold a card. Easy is it too.
DPs are from Papirdesign. To decorate the card I used only a swirldie (My Favorite Thing), a poinsettiadie (Magnolia DooHickey), lace, seambindingribbon, twine, 2 little bells and a little brad (in the middle of the poinsettia)
I inked all paperedges - the greetingpaper-roll and the poinsettia too). On the poinsettia I sprayed a good layer of Glimmermist (Dazzling Diamonds).
The sides on th card is punched with Martha Stewart Vintage Floral edge punch.

The greeting on the front of the card is stamped onto a rolled paper. The greeting doesn’t show completely before the paper is rolled out.

Inside. The stamped greeting is from Papirdesign.

I’m still not quite sure wether to put on a sentiment on the back, or not… Think I’ll wait a little while, so I don’t do it and regret it all time after…

The image «Naughty or Nice», from Dr Digi

Pro-and FlexMarkers used for colouring:
Skin: Ivory, Dusky Pink, Tan
Trousers: Cocoa, Poppy
Shirt, Beard and hair: Warm Grey1, Blender
Pencil: Sandstone, Gold
Naughty/ Nice-List: Satin, Blender
Rolled list: Putty, Satin, Antique White (F)

I’ll enter these challenges:

Photo Inspiration @ Inky Chicks

Hello again friends, followers and fellow crafters.
Tonight we start the new challenge at
Inky Chicks

This fortnight we have a picture to inspire you.

For this challenge we are
Sponsored by Creashop Duymelot

prize is a 10 Euro voucher

I found inspiration in the colours. Mainly the turquoise-ish coloured eye.
I made a little giftbag, after a tutorial in the latest issue of the magazine Ett Trykk.
The image on the giftbag is one of Sherri Baldys My Besties.
It’s coloured with ProMarkers.
I was really surprised to see how much turquoise stash I had in my boxes and drawers…(but looking around in my room, I think I may have the stash to meet most any challenge).
The giftbag is made out of Bazzill Kraft cardstock, which I think worked quite well with the turquoise and white, and that it fitted the inspiration picture as well.
Behind the image I put on an embossed panel.
Both the embossing and the paperedges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.

Back of the bag, with a stamped, little greeting from Kort & Godt:
