Sizzix Toppers, Borders and Corners by Brenda Walton

Good Morning
Today I have another dies-set I have got to play with from Sizzix to show you.
I have to warn you; this is a rather pictureheavy post, with measurings for the paperbag I made, and with lots of close up pictures, I hope you'll find it interesting enough to continue reading...

The dies set I got from Sizzix this time is called
This set contains 8 different dies, and was super fun to play with.
I made a paperbag that fitted the size of the dieses.

Here's my finished paperbag:
(You'll find measurements for the paperbag further down in the post)

Backside:

Opened up:

After a little try- and failing I came up with these measurements for the paperbag:
(I used 250g cardstock to make the paperbag)
Cardstock size: 8 1/4" x 10"
Score: 3 1/8", 4 5/8", 7 3/4" and 9 1/4" (it leaves a 3/4" strip to glue the paperbag together)
Score shortside on 1/2" for the bottom part of the bag
This leaves the paperbag 8 1/4" high, but of course it can be cut at the hight you want...

I used papers from G45 on the bag before I attached the top and bottom covers.

Then I covered the bottom part with one of the dies from the set, the scorelines on the die-cut matches the foldings on the bag just perfect:

I covered the top of the bag with anothe dies from the set.
This one is only attached at the back of the bag, to be able to open the paperbag:

I decorated the part that is attached to the bag the same way as the frontside:

Inside the lid I put on a magnet to keep the bag closed (of course there's a magnet underneath the DP on the bag, as well...)

On the back of the paperbag I used an image from a G45 DP, lined for writing a little greeting or personal message

I think this little charms fitted just perfect for the paperbag

Sizzix Dies Treat Bag Topper by Lori Whitlock

Hi again
Some of us DT-girls at Storyteller have got the dies-set Treat Bag Topper by Lori Whitlock from Sizzix to play with, and today is the day to show you what we've made with this supercute dies set.
The set has 12 different dies, so here's plenty to choose from to make and decorate a treat bag.
I have tried all dies, tough I didn't use them all on this treat bag, and all of them made perfect cuts.

Sizzix
Treat Bag Topper by Lori Whitlock

I made a topper for a girly giftbag, filled with "necessities" for a girl.
Isn't it adorable! I love this dies set, and will very soon have to try it out with paperbags instead of a cellofane bag too. (That, I think, will be perfect for little christmas treats).
Well, enough talk, here's my Treat Bag:

Materials Used:
Sizzix dies: Treat Bag Topper (660291)
Bazzill Kraft cardstock
Bazzill Green cardstock
Scrap papers
DistressInk WalnutStain
In the middle of the flowers I put some flower stamens I bought years ago, originally to use in marzipane flowers...

I'll join these challenges:
Papertake Weekly - Trio-Tastic
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Dream Valley #109 - Girly
Kort o Mania #132 - La det blomstre/ Flowers
Papirlosjen - Alt er lov

Of course I have made a thing (with wings) to inspire you to join us.
I used the image Heart Box Angel on my project this week.
And what I've made this week is a wall hanging.
I used papers from Maja Design, and coloured the image in colours I think matched the papers.
Around the image I sprinkled on a little Shabby White Frantage.
To decorate the wall hanging I used Flowers, lace, pearlstrings, cheesecloth, twine and a button.
The little stamped text is from Kort&Godt.
In one of the bottom corners I put a magnet underneath the DP, it's meant to hold pins I often use when I have to make quick fixings...
All paperedges are distressed and inked with DistressInk WalnutStain

Here it is, with several close-ups:

Confirmationcard with Magnolia

Hi again
I'm here to show you one of this years confirmation cards.
This one for a girl (obvious...), with one of my dear Magnolia images.
It's coloured with ProMarkers.
DPs on the card are from Magnolia and Papirdesign. All Die Cuts are cut out in white Bazzill cardstock. All paper- and cardstock edges are inked with DistressInk WalnutStain.
To decorate the card I've used most of all those lovely embellishments I love; Flowers, Cheesecloth, pearls and pearlstrings, ribbons, Laces, Twines, Buttons and Charms. And Frantage. I put on Frantage both around the image and on the flowers.
Behind the image there's place for a little tag (Magnolia DooHickey) with a little greeting on.
Well, enough talk, here's the card:

Inside the card there's a stamped greeting and a pocket sized for either a giftcard, some money or a card with a more personal greeting:
